Viatris has a vast manufacturing platform in India which comprises oral solid doses (OSD) and injectables facilities that serve a number of markets around the world and produce medicines in a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Viatris’ commercial business in India offers a large portfolio of products across a wide range of therapeutic areas. With a strength of about 400 employees, the commercial business is witnessing high growth & holds leadership positions in several categories

Viatris operates 7 manufacturing facilities in India that provide a broad portfolio & pipeline of finished dosage forms like tablets & capsules and high-quality specialty & generic injectables across a wide range of therapeutic categories

Our R&D centers in India help expand our product portfolio & work collaboratively across multiple R&D centers around the world.

Scientific Affairs at Viatris includes portfolio management, R&D, regulatory affairs, product safety and risk management & clinical research.

India is home to integral regulatory team that supports and works closely with the R&D & cross functional teams for new product submissions & lifecycle management in many markets.

In July 2019, the creation of a new company named Viatris was announced globally.

India is home to global R&D centers of excellence - one is based in Hyderabad, where a team of highly qualified scientists and regulatory affairs professionals research APIs, OSDs, and biologics, while another centre located in Bangalore focuses solely on injectables
Our strength comes from approximately 9,000 employees from various parts of India, providing us with a diverse mix of individuals committed to delivering on our mission to help people in living healthier lives
